On Podiatry . . .
“Podiatry is fascinating because it involves so many different
aspects of medicine. I see patients with skin problems, toenail problems,
injuries, diabetic complications, overuse problems and mechanical
problems. It is a pleasant challenge treating such a variety of patients
and ailments every day.”
On Foot Pain
“It’s amazing how many people restrict their enjoyment
of life because of problems with their feet. Simple foot ailments
that become part of everyday pain can easily be addressed and resolved.
Podiatry can help patients, particularly older people who cannot see
or reach their feet, become more active, more social, more comfortable
and pain free.”
On Treating Patients
“Treating patients is more than
just looking at their feet. I enjoy the
bond that I forge with my patients, and
I enjoy helping them to become comfortable
on their feet again. Most of all I enjoy
seeing patients stand up and leave with
smiles on their faces."
